ARS Montreal Sosse and Laval Shoushi Chapters – Christmas & New Year’s Event 2020
The ARS annual New Year’s event organized by Montreal “Sosse” and Laval “Shoushi” chapters took place on January 16, 2020 at the Armenian Community Center in Montreal. The event was successful, with over 250 tickets sold to members and non-members alike.
Ungerouhi Ani Ohanian, chairperson of the Regional Executive Board started off the evening by extending her New Year’s wishes, after which each table took turns going up to the beautiful buffet. The night’s entertainment was provided by a DJ.
It was a great opportunity for Laval and Montreal members to see each other and convey their best wishes for the new year. The evening was filled with lots of Armenian dancing. The lottery portion of the night followed and there were over 20 wonderful prizes to be won this year.
Finally, the moment awaited by everyone: the famous Armenian “cheureg” and “anoush abour” for dessert. Some would even say this was their favorite part of the evening!
