This year’s the ARS Montreal Sossé Chapter’s Children’s Christmas party was held on Sunday December 11th, 2022, from 2pm to 4:30pm in the Sourp Hagop School gymnasium in Montreal.

The theme was Aux Pays des Bonbons (Candyland)!

What a successful event with over 250 tickets sold!

Children and their parents got to play and enjoy a multitude of carnival games together, such as ring toss and basketball.

Many life size mascots from popular Disney movies made a grand entrance and were walking around, taking pictures with the children who were very excited to see their favorite characters and superheroes (Transformers, Olaf, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Nemo and Dory and Minions).

A famous Montreal DJ – DJ Nanar was playing Christmas songs and popular dance hits which the children and parents could dance to. There was also a face painting booth which was a big hit.

We then gathered all the children to the center, and they began singing songs to welcome Santa Claus in! Everyone took a turn going to take their annual Christmas photos with him!

Finally, a beautiful food booth was set up with delicious sandwiches and sweet snacks for sale.

The event was over before we knew it, and everyone asked us to recreate the same thing next year as they all had too much fun. Lots of happy memories created and quality time spent together, this embodies the spirit of Christmas and the ARS.
