ARS Cambridge Meghri Chapter Mother’s Day Celebration

ՀՕմի Մեղրի մասնաճիւղի կազմակերպած մայրերու եւ ՀՕՄի օրուայ ձեռնարկը տեղի ունեցաւ Կիրակի 7 Մայիս, 2023, Գէմպրիճի հայ կեդրոնի Փոստաճեան սրահին մէջ, ներկայութիամբ հոգեւոր հովիւ գերապատիւ հայր Գեղարդ Ծայրագոյն վարդապետ Քիւսպէքեան, Գանատայի շրջանային վարչութիան Գէմպրիճի ներկայացուցիչ ընկհ. Անի Հոթոյան-Ճոլի, Գէմպրիճի համայնքին գործող պատկան մարմիններու եւ բազմաշատ ներկաներու։

Ձեռնարկը սկսաւ Գանատայի, Հայաստանի, Արցախի եւ ՀՕՄի քայլերգներով։ Օրուան հանդիսավարն էր Ընկհ. Վերա Թիթիզեան որ հրաւիրեց ներկանները վարկեան մը յոտնկայս յարգելու մեզմէ առյաւէտ բաժնուած ընկերուհիներու յիշատակը։ Ընկհ. Թիթիզեան իր բացման խօսքին մէջ շեշտեց ինչպէս ՀՕՄը իր բարեսիրական աշխատանքներու ընդմէջէն մայրական սիրով ու գուրգուրանքով կը ծառայէ մեր համայնքին եւ մաղթեց բոլոր ՀՕՄուհիներուն աննկուն կամքով շարունակել հայ մօր ու ՀՕՄուհիի առաքելութիւնը։

Պատրաստուած էր գեղարուեստական յայտագիր մը ՀՕՄի Մեղրի մասնաճիւղի Մեսրոպ Թիթիզեան վարժարանի աշակերտներու կողմէ, նաեւ գաղութի տաղանդաւոր դէմքերէն մասնակից եղան, Ռազմիկ Կարպուշեան (երգ), Ռիթա Աղինեան (դաշնամուր), Կարինէ եւ Մանէ Գարաեագուպեան(Չութակ եւ դաշնամուր)։

Օրուայ բանախօսն էր Ընկհ. Տիրուկ Մարգարեան—Կարապետեան որ շատ հետաքրքրական եւ ազդեցիկ ձեւով ներկայացուց հայ մօր կերպարը։ Ընկերուհին ասմունքով, երգով եւ քանի մը բանաստեղծներու խօսքերով նկարագրեց հայ մայրը որպէս հայ լեզուի, հայրենասիրութեան եւ հաւատքի աղբիւր։

Երեք նորագիր ընկերուհիներ Նէնսի Ճիւելէկեան, Մարիա Պետրոսեան եւ Ծովիկ Պալճեան երդման արարողութիւն կատարեցին կնքամայրութիամբ Ընկհ. Հուրի Գասամանեանի։

Գանատայի շրջանային վարչութիան ներկայացուցիչ Ընկհ. Անի Հոթոյան-Ճոլիի եւ Մեղրի մասնաճիւղի ատենապետուհի Ընկհ. Մարալ Պետուրեանի ձեռամբ, զարդասեղներ ստացան չորս ընկերուհիներ Մարլէն Կարպուշեան, Զէփիւռ Գէւորգեան, Ազիկ Գէւորգեան եւ Վերա Թիթիզեան իրենց 25 եւ 15 տարուայ նուիրումին եւ ծառայութիան համար։

Տեղի ունեցաւ նուիրատութիւն, մոմավառութիւն ե. Կարկանդակի հատում երկու երէց ընկերուհիներու, Անահիտ Ասատուրեանի եւ Քնար Քէլեանի կողմէ:

Ընկերուհի Անահիտ Ասատուրեան իր երկար տարիներու ծառայութեան համար, ըլլայ ՀՕՄի , Եկեղեցւոյ և Շաբաթօրեայ դպրոցէն ներս բարձր գնահատուեցաւ: Այս առթիւ ընկերուհի Սեդա Դաւիթեան կարդաց իր կենսագրականը յիշելով նաև իր նկարած և միշտ բաժնած պատկերները : Առողջութեան լաւագոյն մաղթանքներով ընկերուհի Սեդա նուիրեց ծաղկեփունջ մը:

Մեղրի մանաճիւղի փոխ ատենապետուհի ընկհ. Մարկօ Թագուշեան յուշանուէրով մը պատուեց Յարութ Կարպուշեանին իր երաժշտական եւ ելեկտրական դասաւորումներուն համար։

Ձեռնարկի աւարտին հայր սուրբը փոխանձեց իր սրտի խօսքը բոլոր մայրերուն եւ պահպանիչով օրհնեց բոլոր ներկանե

 

ARS Cambridge Meghri Chapter Mother’s Day Celebration
May 7, 2023

ARS Meghri Chapter celebrated Mother’s Day and ARS Day on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in the Bostajian Hall of the Armenian Community Centre in Cambridge.  Many mothers and their families attended this event.  It was a pleasure to have several special guests, including the pastor of St. Nishan Armenian Apostolic Church, Father Keghart Kosbakian, Ung. Ani Hotoyan-Joly (regional ARS representative), and others.

The event began with the anthems of Canada, Armenia, Artsakh, and the Armenian Relief Society.

MC of the day was Ung. Vera Titizian who invited the audience to stand for a prayer in memory of all those who have passed away.  In her opening speech, Titizian emphasized how the ARS serves communities with motherly love and affection while organizing charitable events for humanitarian aid.

Guests enjoyed performances by students of the ARS Meghri Chapter Mesrob Titizian Armenian Saturday School.  Also performing were Razmig Garboushian (singer), Ung. Rita Aghinyan (pianist), as well as mother and daughter team Karine and Mane Karayacoubian on violin and piano.

Guest speaker Ung. Diroug Markarian Garabedian spoke about the role of Armenian mothers, and their dedication to continuing Armenian traditions and language in our children.  She spoke with true patriotism, sang an inspirational song, and included quotes from poets.

ARS Meghri Chapter was pleased to add three new members, who were sworn in by Ung. Houry Kassamanian.  Welcome to Nancy (Givelekian) Cholakian, Maria Bedrosian, and Zovig Baljian.

Ung. Ani Hotoyan-Joly, joined by Meghri Chapter Chair Ung. Maral Bedourian, presented four members with special pins for their years of dedication and service to the ARS (Ung. Azig Kevorkian, Ung. Vera Titizian – 15 years; Ung. Zepour Kevorkian, Ung. Marlene Garboushian – 25 years).

Cutting of the cake and candle lighting were conducted by long-time members Ung. Anahid Assadourian and Ung. Knar Kelian.

Ung. Anahid Assadourian was highly appreciated for her many years of service as an ARS member, her involvement with St. Nishan Armenian Apostolic Church, and with the Armenian Saturday School.  Ung. Seta Tavitian read Ung. Anahid’s biography and presented her with a bouquet of flowers.

Vice-Chair Ung. Margo Takouchian honoured Harout Garboushian with a special gift recognizing his ongoing support to ARS by always being available to assist with his technical expertise.
