ARS Cambridge Meghri Chapter Celebrated Mother’s Day and ARS Day
ՀՕՄի Մեղրի մասնաճիւղի կազմակերպած մայրերու եւ ՀՕՄի Օրը, տեղի ունեցաւ կիրակի 1 Մայիս 2022ին կէսօրէ ետք ժամը 2ին, հայ կեդրոնի Փոստաճեան սրահին մէջ, ներկայութեամբ գաղութիս հոգեւոր հովիւ Գերապատիւ Տէր Գեղարդ Ծրգ. Վրդ. Քիւսպէկեանի եւ շրջանային վարչութեան ներկայացուցիչ Ընկհ. Անի Հոթոյեան Ժոլիի, Արամ Դրօ Կոմիտէութեան ներկայացուցիչներու եւ հարիւրէ աւելի Ներկաներու։
Օրուան հանդիսավարն էր ընկհ. Յասմիկ Հանէշեանը։ Ան հրաւիրեց ներկաները ոտնկայս ունկնդրելու Հայաստանի եւ ՀՕՄի Քայլերգները եւ վայրկեան մը յոտնկայս յարգելու մեզմէ բաժնուած ընկերուհիներու հոգիները։
Մեսրոպ Թիթիզեան Շաբաթօրեայ դպրոցի աշակերտները մասնակցեցան գեղարուեստական բաժնին։ ՀՕՄի ընկերուհիներէն ընկերուհի Կարինէ Գարա Եագուպեան նուագեց եւ ընկերուհի Ակնէս Թիթիզեան ասմունքեց։
Օրուայ պատգամաբերն էր ընկհ. Աննա Մարտիկեան Տէր Յակոբեանը։ Ան ներկայացուց մայրը եւ ՀՕՄի մեծ ընտանիքը իբրեւ ծառայասէր հաստատութիւն հայ սփիւռքեան կեանքին մէջ։
Տասը ընկերուհիներու երդման արարողութիւնը կատարուեցաւ, կնքամայրութեամբ Ընկհ. Սեդա Դաւիթեանի։
Մոմավառութիւն եւ կարկանդակի հատում տեղի ունեցաւ երկու երէց Ընկերուհի Անահիտ Ասատուրեան եւ Քնար Քէլեանի` եւ նոր ընկերուհի ու մայր Աստղիկ Աշըքեանի ձեռամբ։
Շնորհաւորական խօսք փոխանցեց շրջանային վարչութեան ներկայացուցիչ Ընկհ. Անի Հոթոյեան Ժոլին եւ շնորհաւորեց նոր ընկերուհիները եւ մայրերը։
Տեղի ունեցան նուիրատութիւններ եւ հիւրասիրութիւն։
Ձեռնարկը վերջ գտաւ Հայր Սուրբին պահպանիչով եւ օրհնութեամբ։
ARS Meghri Chapter organized a celebration of Mother’s Day and ARS Day which took place on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Bostajian Hall of the Armenian Community Centre of Cambridge. It was well attended by over 100 community members. Also present were Reverend Father Keghart Kosbakian, Regional ARS representative Ung. Ani Hotoyan-Joly, along with representatives of the Aram-Tro Committee.
Ungerouhi Hasmik Haneshian was the MC for the event. A moment was taken to remember the beloved ARS members who have passed away.
Students from ARS Meghri Chapter Mesrob Titizian Armenian Saturday School performed for the guests. Ung. Agnes Titizian recited a poem, and there was a violin performance by Ung. Karine Karayacoubian which was enjoyed by all.
Guest speaker for the event was Ung. Anna Mardigian Der Hagopian. She emphasized how mothers and HOM members are a serving institution of the Armenian Diaspora. ARS Meghri Chapter was proud to have ten new members join this year. The swearing-in ceremony was overseen by Ung. Seta Tavitian.
Candle lighting of the Mother’s Day cake was done by Ung. Anahid Assadourian and Ung. Knar Kelian, joined by one of the new members, who is also recently a new mother – Ung. Asdghig Ashekian.
Regional representative Ung. Ani Hotoyan-Joly delivered a congratulatory speech to the new HOM members.
Following the blessing by Father Keghart Kosbakian, delicious refreshments were served at the end of the event. ARS Meghri Chapter would like to thank all those who attended, as well as the volunteers. All donations were also much appreciated.
