ARS Montreal Children’s Christmas Party 2025
On Sunday, December 7th, the Aharonian Hall at the Armenian Community Center was
transformed into a dazzling world of magic for Mickey’s Magical Christmas. From 2:00 PM to
4:30 PM, families gathered for an unforgettable afternoon filled with laughter, music, and
holiday cheer. With 320 tickets sold and over 160 children in attendance, the event was a
spectacular success, bringing the community together in the spirit of celebration.
The festivities began with a beautiful story time by Digine Zepur, who captivated the audience
with a heartfelt tale about the magic of Christmas. Her words set the perfect tone for the
enchanting day ahead, reminding everyone of the joy and wonder this season brings.
The excitement truly came alive when the Disney Parade began, led by two little drummer boys
whose rhythmic beats set the stage for the magic to follow. Behind them marched nine beloved
characters—Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Olaf, Elsa, Nemo, Dory,
and Stitch—bringing smiles and laughter to children and parents alike. Guests enjoyed hugs,
photos, and interactive fun as the mascots filled the room with Disney magic. The parade was
accompanied by DJ Sarkeys, whose playlist of Disney classics filled the room with energy and
excitement. One of the most breathtaking moments came when the lights dimmed, and
children held sparklers in their hands, illuminating the room with a dazzling glow. The sparkling
lights against the darkness created a scene straight out of a fairy tale.
Just when it seemed the day couldn’t get any more magical, the children gathered to welcome
a very special guest, Santa Claus himself! His arrival brought cheers and joy as families lined up
for photos. Santa, seated on a stage adorned with red, gold, green and black balloons reflecting
the Disney theme, gifted small presents to every child, spreading holiday cheer throughout the
room.
Families also enjoyed a professional photo booth setup outside, where they could take digital
portraits throughout the event, creating lasting memories of this extraordinary day.
Adding to the festive experience were interactive booths that kept children entertained and
inspired: ornament making, bracelet making, coloring, cookie baking, and face painting. Guests
also enjoyed a magnificent Disney-themed food booth, a merchandise booth offering magical
souvenirs, and a juice station serving refreshing drinks to keep the energy high.
To make the day even more thrilling, we held a raffle with 19 amazing prizes, including the top
prize—tickets to Disney on Ice! The raffle added an extra layer of anticipation and joy for
attendees.
This incredible event was made possible thanks to the dedication of our committee members,
amazing student volunteers from École Arménienne Sourp Hagop, our mascots, DJ Sarkeys,
Santa Claus Viken Markarian, Digine Zepur, our sponsors, our donors, and the talented
bakers who brought this vision to life. It was more than a celebration, it was a beautiful
reminder of the power of community, imagination, and togetherness. Families left with hearts
full of happiness and memories that will last a lifetime.
