ARS Montreal Sosse Chapter – Children’s Christmas Party 2019
This year’s the ARS – Montreal Sosse Chapter’s Children’s Christmas party was held on Sunday December 8th, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm in the Homenetmen Gamk – Haig Markarian gymnasium at the Armenian Community Center in Montreal.
The theme was A Christmas Carnival, with a special host: The Elf on the Shelf welcoming everyone!
What a successful event with 250 tickets sold!
Children and their parents got to play and enjoy a multitude of Carnival games together such as inflatables, ring toss and basketball. There was a face painting booth which was a hit and many life size mascots walking around, taking pictures with the children who were very excited to see their favorite characters and superheroes (Ninja Turtles, Batman, Spiderman, Hulk, Super Mario brothers and Owelette). A DJ was also playing Christmas songs and popular dance hits which the children could dance to.
We then gathered all children to the stage, and they began singing songs to welcome Santa Claus in! Everyone took a turn going to take their annual Christmas photos with him!
Finally, a beautiful food booth was set up with delicious sandwiches and sweet snacks for sale.
The event was over before we knew it, and everyone asked us to recreate the same thing next year as they all had too much fun. Lots of happy memories created and quality time spent together, this embodies the spirit of Christmas and the ARS.
