ARS “Sosse” Montreal “Jirayr and Houry Zakarian” scholarship recipients 2022
For the academic year 2021-2022, ARS Montreal “Sosse” chapter established a new scholarship “Jirayr and Houry Zakarian”, generously donated by unger Jirayr and ungerouhi Houry Zakarian.
ARS “Sosse” Montreal Executive Committee is happy to announce that the above mentioned scholarship for the academic year 2021-2022 was granted to Talia Jabrayan & Tamar Gedigian. The monetary value of each grant is $1,000 Cad.
Who are our recipients?
Talia Jabrayan is a graduate of L’École arménienne Sourp Hagop. She recently graduated from Université de Montréal with a bachelor’s degree in law and is currently studying for her Barreau.
Tamar Gedigian is also a graduate of L’École arménienne Sourp Hagop. She is currently studying at Concordia University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in translation.
Both recipients are not only committed to their studies as demonstrated by their academic performances but are also actively involved in more than two of the following organizations: AYF (Armenian Youth Federation), Armen Karo Student Association, Hamazkayin as well Horizon weekly.
