ARS Montreal Sosse Chapter Volunteer Appreciation Dinner June 2025
Volunteer Appreciation Night – June 19th, 2025
Hosted by the Armenian Relief Society – Montreal Sosse Chapter
Theme: Greek Bouzouki Night
On the evening of June 19th, the Armenian Relief Society – Montreal Sosse Chapter hosted a vibrant and heartfelt Volunteer Appreciation Night at Aharonian Hall. This year’s celebration embraced the lively spirit of a Greek Bouzouki Night, bringing a joyful and festive atmosphere to an evening dedicated to honouring community service.
The event brought together devoted members, supporters, and volunteers to recognize the invaluable contributions made throughout the year. Guests were welcomed into an atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and deep appreciation — a true celebration of those who give so generously of their time and heart.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the God and Goddess Awards, where nine exceptional volunteers were recognized for their unique strengths, creativity, leadership, and unwavering dedication. Inspired by Greek mythology, these symbolic awards paid tribute to the incredible individuals who embody the values of the ARS.
The night also featured two fun and interactive games that sparked laughter and connection, along with lively Greek dancing that filled the hall with energy and joy. The sounds of bouzouki music, the scent of Mediterranean cuisine, and the warmth of community created an unforgettable atmosphere.
As a final touch, each guest left with a different potted herb plant — a symbolic gift representing growth, care, and the nurturing spirit of volunteerism. It was a meaningful reminder that, like herbs, volunteers bring unique flavour and life to everything they touch.
The ARS Sosse Chapter extends its deepest gratitude to all volunteers. Your dedication and spirit are the heart of our mission and the strength of our community.
You are the soul of our mission — and we celebrate you.
